I would like to put out a request to all you fine sculptors and companies that are making these wonderful baby kits we are all buying. As a consumer, I have a request that I would like you all to consider on your future kits for us. There seems to be a drastic shift towards buyers wanting the full arms and full legs on their babies. We are now starting to see a few more kits being made with full arms. This is good if the arms are sculpted in such a way that they have nice curvature that promotes natural movement on the body and do not stick out at stiff angles. Please keep that in mind. However, another big issue I am having is what is called full legs. I am finding that some of these legs that are called full legs but are still a straight cut off at the flange do not move well no matter what kind of body is made for them. Usually I opt to use a 3/4 leg body on these type kits unless the thigh of the leg is just too long to look proportioned on a 3/4 leg cap. If the thigh is longer, but the flange has no hip/thigh curvature to it then one HAS to use a front loading leg body to make these babies look right. IMO these bodies limit movement and I just do not like them. I MUCH prefer my kit to have some thigh curvature to the legs if we are going for a full leg baby. There are a few kits out now that have these nice legs and the babies move SO much better and look adorable in onesies and such. If a kit were to have the combo of this type leg with nice full arms that are not stiff looking then this kit is the kit I would most want to buy.
Just an example of a kit that has these type limbs I like but of course all proportions, fat or skinny, newborn, preemie, etc. are great. This kit just has the limbs made like I would prefer to see.
