So I got my new oven. I always use 2 extension rings (melted 3 baby’s before haha)
But this one has different settings. I used my oven thermometer. I put it on 265 degrees. Kit inside. Tuned time on 10min. Put it on. But my thermometer shows the temp inside is max 230/250… only hits 265 in the last minute.
Tried to put temp higher to achieve the 265… but when I took the kit out there was a lot of damp mist. As if it were to hot.
So not taking the 8min of 265 degrees. I’m so confused right now.
250 is enough to heat set the paint and it only needs to get there for about 2 minutes. You can test it with a damp (water) q-tip after it is baked.
