Is anyone else having Bi-polar weather? Dear me it has been crazy here in GA! Sunday it rained most the day. With that came cooler weather. I had turned my heat off for the season and this morning I awoke to a house that is 64 degrees and my feet were like Ice! I had to turn my heat back on! It is supposed to get up to 70 here today. That will be nice.
I am off work today so I will be painting babies like a mad woman again! Trying to get my 10 vinyl babies finished for the DOTWE show. They all have their skin tones now and milia on the ones I wanted it on. Next I have yet to do nails, then matte varnish them all, then paint hair and seal it then assembly which includes setting eyes and rooting lashes. I also have to go back and assemble my silicone partial I painted, root her lashes and figure out how to dress her, the mini and the olgre elf. Oh My! I also had planned to sew some bags, and embroider some baby jackets and quilts. I am not sure if I will get to all that!
In the midst of all this I have cut my work hours back to 2 1/2 days a week instead of 3 days. I am still dealing with pinched nerve pain in my neck and shoulders with hand numbness and tingling as well as sciatica all from bulging discs. Turning 60 has been a hard year so far on the body!
The grands are growing so fast and I will share one photo here we took on Easter. I am so enjoying being a Mae Mae!
It’s been crazy up here in the northern part of the country, too. Sleet one moment, sunshine the next, swings in temps from 14 wind chill up to 70 degrees within less than 24 hours, and fog for days that I’ve never seen hang around this long. Hoping that spring is going to start soon, for all.
I told Chuck I wanted him to build me one when he could.
He follows a local online auction and has been buying tables for his workshop. He bought 3 padded tables ( like what’s in a dr office) he strips them down to the wood and uses those.
He went to pick them up and an older lady saw him and came over and told him she had bought this one because of the wooden legs….but she thought it was a bench not a table and if he wanted it he could just have it…..so now it’s mine. He cut it and lowered in yesterday….Im going to paint the top black and put some poly on it.
