Mohair- unknown

I am posting this for a friend of a friend… as I don’t know much about Mohair I told her I would post it here so maybe someone can at least give some insight. She is doing an estate sale and she recieved a box of this Mohair. She wants to sell it for $90 + shipping. The platinum is angora. I don’t have a clue. Posting picks. Oh some of it is on watts.

If she seperates it I like the mohair on the last pic!

Some of it look like roving. Do not use, it’s bad stuff.

The angora, she has I think 4 bags of that. What do you want me to ask her.

How much for two white packs? Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, what is roving hair? I’m trying to learn.

I’ll ask now

@Nikkiroc is the white roving?

The ones in the second picture that are kind of coiled up in the packages are roving. It’s used for spinning into yarn and is unsuitable for reborning. The wavy white hair and the blonde with it look okay but I don’t think the others are premium quality. They look very dry to me.

The white one and the blonde under it in the last picture are not roving.

Thanks for the info…it is very much appreciated!

She said she will sell you all 3 packs of the white for $27 plus shipping.

That’s a pretty good price and you can dye the white if you want to.

I only see two packages of white mohair unless the bottom one is white and it’s not a clear picture. The other white one, in the 2nd picture, is roving.

I’ll take the 3 white mohair!
@jeanhai I think there are 3 and 1 pack of roving.

The white looks like decent mohair and it’s 7-9 inches in length so it should go a long way if you cut it.

She didn’t show the 3rd one.
