Finally putting my Mila by Ping Lau together. I know how to assemble her torso with her head and arms but do I still weigh or stuff them? The hole openings are so tiny that I had trouble even gluing the hair.
I don’t know about Mila but I have just done Luca by Ping Lau and there was no way I could add any stuffing or weighting material to the torso as the hole in the torso was so small. I have made ball jointed dolls before but I found Luca very difficult to put together, I would never make her again.
For mine I just stuffed the head and upper torso with fiber fill. Then for the limbs I added glass beads in the hands and feet only then stuffed the rest of the way with fiber fill. I weighted and stuffed the cloth body as usual. Hope that helps
TY–perfect. That was what I am going to do!
the 2 custom Adeles I made I weighted them both just like my regular toddlers. They are much slimmer than normal size toddler kits, so each weighed about 9- 9.5 lbs… worked fine
