Male belly plate help

Does anyone have any pictures of completed atomically correct male belly plates? I’m painted my first one and I want to make sure I get the coloring right but I’m not wanting to google pictures of real babies nether regions for obvious reasons…

Ha :thinking:its something I painted but didn’t take photos of, usually you block the little pee tails out of photos. Good luck.

The lighting is horrible here right now but here are two that I did. First one is a newer baby and quite red…the second is an older baby and just slightly darker than skin. I have three boys.

I have done the scrotum slightly darker.

I have 2 boys but I didn’t take pictures of that when they where babies…I kind of use my memory

Interestingly, I was just at this web page, and you can find 2 photos within which would be of help for this particular issue (I would also trust a mom of boys ). Skin | Newborn Nursery | Stanford Medicine

Welcome to the forum.

Heads up, this link shows lots of medical conditions and some procedures.
(As you might expect.)
Not for the squeamish or faint of heart.

Great visual references for newborns.

Welcome !
That’s an amazing site for references !

I checked out everything on there. It was really interesting! Def good for references! Also different things that people may want to add like deformities and such.

I found it because I’ve been researching painting reborn babies (among other things) and saw someone paint something and I wanted to know why, and kind of just spiraled from there; but I agree, it’s tremendously helpful for very real skin references. It was very interesting.
I only joined here to share that, really, and I only ended up here initially because I was researching using human hair for them. My ultimate goal with making reborn babies, if I decide to take the plunge, is to sculpt my own originals, so I don’t’ know if I’ll hang around, but I’m glad I could be of assistance.

Whoa this is great! Lots of nice detail shots!

What a great reference site!

Welcome @drawmewithpassion hope you stick around for a while. We all would love to see your sculpts and reborns.
