Has anyone ever used genesis heat set paints on a macphearson doll kit and did the kit do ok in the oven when baking?
I did twin A with Gus paints ok

Yes.
Their warning about heating is just because they can not control oven malfunctions or issues cause by heating.
Which makes perfect sense to me. Why should they have to replace something that I chose to bake?

I have always used my oven with Genesis on MP kits but I only bake at 190 F for about 12 minutes a go. Longer if I’m using a medium with my paint or alone.
