Excuse the shine, he needs varnish still. But I’m wondering if anyone has tried a bigger body on their Lou Lou. Without the belly plate, the original body looks perfect. But the plate is too big for it. I either want to put him
on a bigger cloth body or trim around the hips a little. But trimming would just make the belly button look too low. Or should I just leave well enough alone since every LouLou has the same problem? Even the prototype ones look like they have an ill fitting belly plate.

The belly plate is just too big. On a bigger body her limbs would just look too short. Her arms are already a little t-Rex-y.

I too thought the belly plate seemed big for her when I did mine. I used the body she came with and it seemed to suit her limbs and head but maybe a little trim on the belly plate if you wanted.

That is cute and hilarious at the same time!
Love those eyes and lashes!

She was saying “button!” It was even funnier because she is always wanting to see and touch everyone’s bellies (she calls them billies).

Thanks! Idk how this belly was determined to be a good match. Especially from such a great sculptor!

Can you trim it a little at the neck and hips?

I am wondering the same…just maybe enough to take the points off the sides?

Does it come with the kit or was it an add on?
I’m tempted to cut a little off the shoulders and around the hips. But I’ll probably just leave it alone and let the customer figure it out.

Maybe it would work on an inch longer body.

Maybe trim up and around the legs in the hip area and see?

Well that’s disappointing, I just ordered her.
