I did just see it but I personally think the asleep is cuter. I also have a Sherry Rawn Sarah-Lynn I’m hoping to do at some point
I can’t wait to see!!!
Thank you so much, everybody, for your answers and opinions! I really appreciate that.
I totally understand and agree on defying bone structures and benefits of it to add to realism.
I still think that all those ‘waves’ on Lou Lou’s head are unnatural, and why one pattern on the left side and completely different on another side? She is very cute and I hope that she will come out as cute as I wanted her to be.
It’s a learning experience for me to buy an expensive kits. I wish other selling sites would post head and limbs pictures in addition to prototype pictures.
Thank you again!
agree 115%
Lou Lou will be one of your favorites. Joanna K kits are always so lifelike once painted her Amelia has the same bone structure on her head and she is probably my favorite baby in my collection.
You can kind of see the shape in this photo. I also prefer painted hair on her sculpts to show off the bone structure. This is the Amelia I own.(Personal Collection)She’s beautiful! . I haven’t gotten Lou Lou yet but I might.
Maybe can I exchange this arm for your LouLou head ?
This one is harder to work with…
@ShawnP I totally agree with you. Except for flaws being due to pouring or bad inspection. Sculptors work really hard and I know it’s extremely difficult and a lot of time and practice to be able to sculpt a decent looking baby. Sure some are more talented than others but thoses artists can’t be compared to a 3D scan. That’s not fair
I love it myself. Guess everyone is different.
I mean ones that look like a triangle. Not the soft spot area…
Like Cassie Brace’s Luciano… it is strange
I filled mine in and you can still see it.
I see what you mean now.
I don’t care for the bone look in the sculpts none of my family had anything like that and it just looks alien to me the only thing any of our family had was the small soft area .
My sentiments too. I went to check on that photo reference post just to see if any baby has those bumps and none of them do. My first impression of the sculpted kit was those bumps make it look like an old man chewing gum or biting his teeth. Also reminded me of Homer Simpson’s boss from The Simpson’s animation.
I would like to see the kit after it being painted.
None of my babies had bumpy skulls either. But Raymond did have a lumpy forehead. He had a weird bump stripe all the way down his forehead. These pictures show it well. But there were no weird lines going down the sides. .
He is so cool and awesome, as well as all you other kids!
Don’t you wish they stay little longer?
@Katinafleming, an older lady told me that a ridge on the forehead is a sign of great intelligence. Maybe she was right because my son is a 3.9 biology major.
Hmmmmm… I don’t have a ridge.
Don’t feel bad - me neither
Haha!
Me either
That’s interesting. He was already starting to recognize some written words at two. And this is now. He’s in 4th grade. This wall represents the entire 4th and 5th grade, and their rankings on an educational app they play. It covers all academic areas. See that lonely little clothespin way on the right? That’s Raymond.
