If you are a member of Amazon Prime and watch videos, check out Lore Episode 6. It focuses on dolls. A few minutes into the episode it shows some reborn kit heads and then, about 24 minutes into it, it has a small segment about reborns.

I thought the whole episode was interesting, especially about Candace Bergen’s father and childhood.
I love The Conjuring series and think that Annabelle Creation is one of the best horror films ever. Even as a doll maker, I wonder, though, how anyone would want that ugly doll.

I would be, too, if a doll got a bigger bedroom than I had and my father left $10,000 for the doll’s care and left me nothing.

They always make us sound unhinged. It’s why it’s taken 7 years to work up the nerve to buy or make a reborn. I told my son I wanted to roleplay with her when she’s finished and he asked if I’m having a breakdown. People have to leave notices on YouTube videos saying that it’s a doll or else feed the trolls. It’s a hobby and a lifelines for some of us. How is this different from people obsessed with Japanese culture, military figure painting or cars?
