Lion lookin

Is this a kit or a modified one? It looks perfect for a lion. Not my pic.

Looks like a modified Punkin to me.

Def not what I wanted to hear. I don’t know how to modify, and as I don’t use any heat set or bake any babies, I would think a modification of that magnitude would be hard to do and be able to keep on.

I understand, haha. I think you could make the piece out of lightweight clay and glue it on? But it’s not something I’d want to mess with either.

@GrammysReborns has done lots of alternatives including at least one baby grinch sculpt that has a similar look and might work for a lion without modification…
What was the name of that sculpt?

Possible. I mean, I COULD make something out of glue, bake it, then glue it on, just something that large and covering part of the mouth or whatever, may prove difficult. I plan to make tiny fangs for another doll in that fashion, but that… Well maybe I’d have to bake it on before I do anything else, then just air dry paint as normal?

I’m not a fan of the jingle and whatever the others are. They def are grinchy. I am wanting to make cowardly lion from The Wizard of Oz. (Plus others) Are there cat sculpts perhaps?

 I think I’ve seen some housecat type?? No idea what the sculpts were though, or of they were ooak or modified or what.

Along with that, what about any sculpts that look “catty”?

You said you’ve got Lennox coming, right? She’s the wildcat looking one to me! Lol

 yeah I’m not sure when she’s shipping. It still says processing on the order. I’ve not decided exactly yet what I want to do for her. I know Heather sculpt has sort of a rounded upper lip area, but I want a bigger baby and open eyed for the Oz babies. I do like the rounded bit though, that would help.

McPherson has Lucian and Jolly which are cat

On McP’ s fantasy these are a actual kit you can buy forgot the name of it.

Jolly freaks me out. I am not a fan of those line of kits. The Jingle one maybe, as it looks more grinch to me, but the others just…Nooooo way!

Lucian IS closer, much closer, but it’s in the style of a dog. I’d like that front mouth part to be similar to the one of this doll I posted or at least shaped in a way I could use it as that area.

I found this one, but it’s a hairless Sphinx, so pretty wrinkly!

 Those things in real life give me willies! I am wanting to make the lion from the Wizard of Oz, but I want it to be a baby as the lion. I did see all of the actual cat kits, and I just want that baby look, but as a cat, if that makes sense! Just like the one on top I was absolutely hoping was a kit!

Someone here did the Wizard of Oz characters before if the dang search was working.

I’ve seen the green witch and the scarecrow for sale on reborns.com. I think the scarecrow was mini Zane? They included Wizard of Oz backgrounds with each doll.

I have seen that one and thought it was the cutest thing!
