Yes @YelenaRey I have trouble with that soft beautiful look too. No fair….bc I would love to produce a baby like that. 
And thank you,ladies, for you kind comments about my Otto….
I did more to him yesterday and will try to snap a couple more pic. I tried to lessen his jaundiced look a bit. I mixed more wash and got it a bit too orange….the problem is…. While working on the painting I tend not to see it until I do photos….i need to take progression pic more often and that would probably help me a lot!!’
He is to be Baby Jesus in the play at my church and he may be a baldy…..I doubt I will find time to root him…..unless I do a thinly rooted style??? Maybe not even then…. I am painting my Christmas cards and have a crochet blanket that has to be finished before this Saturday…. Maybe next week I could tackle it. If he doesn’t get fully rooted….he could be toboggan Baby Jesus

I don’t think your baby looked too yellow, I liked yours better than mine I have been painting pink babies, but end up with them not having the translucency quite right. Are you going to sell your Otto after he finishes his part in the play? lol

I’ve finally gotten some mental energy to get back into reborning again and have been working on a little alien baby. I couldn’t find any fitting eyes, so I made my own.
These are made from a half glass ball and nail polish. They’re not perfect, but oh well. Unfortunately I have to wait for them to dry properly because I’m so excited to try them out and see if they work!

Finished Shyann at one in the morning! I had to wait till the dog got put to bed. I don’t get free time lol and she is velcroed to us all night. First time using body from Crystal’s Stitch Studio. Love it! The feet and hands are nicely proportioned and the body moves nicely. Cute little belly button and booty. I will probably take some stuffing out of the arms and adjust as I like.
