She suggests thinning medium. I personally don’t varnish the area in rooting, but I also like a lighter scalp so don’t paint anything there besides veins or birthmarks.

Bailey has gotten some more creasing, veins, and a little lip color since I last posted. I will probably do an all over red layer next. He’s still on the paler side in person.

Working on a custom Everleigh Gwen! Anyone who has also painted this kit or experienced this issue before, how did you fix it? No matter how much I blend or scratch with a toothpick dipped in thinner, these spots stay on the fingers and toes, as well as a lot of pooling in her nails. I clean her nails on every layer and each new layer of paint I add it just gets worse.

Sadly that is pitting. It wont strip out. Maybe priming and painting over can cover it enough?
That is why a lot of people prime or varnish kits before starting.
My Marcus kits were the worst

Preorder is February 28 and should last about a week or so (unless she sells out), then about 4-6 weeks later kits should arrive

Hopefully, some of my listed babies will sell and I won’t have to worry about saving enough money. I rarely buy new kits anymore because I have a pretty large stash but I really want this one.

I know this is a bit off topic but I love your skintone… meaning yours personally. All my babies and grands (and me) were pale complexion like you which is probably why I prefer the paler skintones for my reborns. I am so pale that a Japanese lady saw me last year when I went with my husband to show her a property and she told me that when I got out of the car she thought she was seeing an angel…haha! I had to smile knowing it was because i am so pale (Irish/English ancestors) and said “no, unfortunately I am just a mere mortal.” I have light hair and very light skin so I think it threw her… (edited to add, when young I was dark brown hair with very pale skin. Kept some colour on it up till about 4 years ago when I let it grow out natural. What a shock to see how little dark brown was left… 
)

Those little dots are so miserable I’m sorry you are having to deal with them. That’s happened to me too (not this kit) and it is SO FRUSTRATING!! Not sure there is anything you can do with them. Sad.
