Here is my latest work in progress. I am working on Realborn Emmy asleep. I think I am going biracial with her. She is not finished. But how is she looking so far? I used the primary method with washes of burnt umber. I tried getting some pictures of her head in a different lighting.

I decided to give my Ivy another varnish coat, here she/he is …
I’ll be ordering the eyes for this little one soon. I’m still trying to decide if I want to do painted or rooted hair for it, either way it’ll be a red head with green eyes.
I started on my 3 memorial babies as well. They still have a lot of progress before they’re done.
“Autumn” will have less mottling than “Ever” and “Pearl”, “Ever” will have a newborn complexion and “Pearl” will have a just born complexion.

Well, I messed up the painting on my “Autumn’s” arms & legs, so I guess she’ll be a cuddle!
I’m not loving how she’s turning out. Hopefully after the other layers I’ll like it more.

I really like her. Was adding black a hard choice for you? When I did it I was like “EKKK! I cant go back from this…”
But it worked out

Thank you! Well I never actually added black except for the eyebrows, just looks like I added black from building up lots of dark brown and combining dark blues and purples overtop.
