I can’t help BUT, I can live in misery with you. My nails suck.
I was gonna say Yoda but @jeanhai best me to the answer. Beyond that, I’m stumped.
Jack-o-lantern?

My swirl failed. I’m moving on. I can’t keep ripping out and redoing.
Once I fill that last bit in, I’ve only got a little bit more to go.
If you fill this little spot more it will look really good
Also, this has been a WIP for a hot minute. My son and I have our space to paint together back. It has been a mess for a while.
I got overwhelmed for the day and have cleaned up to switch to painting vinyl for the rest of the evening with my oldest boy.
Sometimes we need to change our mind
Nice set up!
I have bought a new silicone head and I will root my Genevieve who won’t sell. I am procrastinating a bit, like, rooting silicone is a bit frightening. I hope I will have less trouble with the help of your video !
This is an awesome work space!
I hope so too! I gotta say, technique wise, it is one of the few things that is VERY different than vinyl. I dare say it is a bit more difficult for most. I only find it easier because I did silicone first. Otherwise, I’d hate it like I do rooting vinyl.
It is half of one room in our house. It is supposed to be a theater but our boys don’t care for movies and we don’t use the projector often either. The room is 1/4 of our home. I stole it for dolls.
@jeanhai @DollChick @jlesser Not Yoda or a jack-o-lantern. Here’s what I’m going to use for her hair, after I doctor them up a bit (this may help with the guesses):
Excellent choice. I feel that the eyes you choose will have a huge impact.
Madusa!!! That’s gonna be SO cool!!!
Yep, you guessed it! I’m trying to make her look like she’s in the process of turning to stone, so she’ll be half “normal” Medusa and half statue. But that means a TON of base layers to build up her color.
It’ll be worth it though! I can’t wait to see it finished!
Try and make your curves leading to the swirl more aggressive I envision a extreme yin yang or 69 where the 0 part of the 6&9 overlap and the other hair grows out in the other direction at an extreme angle. Otherwise it just looks straight.
I always imagined rooting silicone would be like rooting a marshmallow

Ooooh fun!!! Should be very interesting to create
I can’t wait to see your progress
It’s like that. Really. Minus the stickiness.
