My current WIP…I’m trying to decide if I want my summer rain to stay a girl or make them a boy! I still need to do eyelashes and put them together!

I made a big boo boo and can’t fix it without stripping I think.

I believe I ended up contaminating the doll itself somehow. Long story short, every layer beyond my initial blue one on her head has something that went wrong. Each layer felt completely cured as I was working. I left her sit last night after heat curing her last layer for the day.

I picked her up today and…every layer above the blue stuck to parchment paper. While I started stripping her, all of it just comes off with a magic eraser except the blue. The blue stuck. I’m just going to finish wiping her down with the magic eraser and start from the blue layer.

One of her legs had the same thing happen except the other paint on the leg isn’t rubbing off. I plopped some blue on the empty spot and it does not cure.

If I can’t get platinum to stick to it somehow, it’ll have to be painted in tin cure. Thankfully I upgraded from hardware store to smooth on 10:100 silicone. Down side is how long a layer takes to dry and heat can’t speed it up.

What do y’all think I should I do with this?
