Let’s show our WIP part 4 (Part 1)

WIP I don’t do ethnic skin tone justice. I am just restoring this Paradise Gallery doll. He/she has a first coat of varnish.

I’m worried about this mottling. I really don’t like it but there is only one option with silicone and that is forward. She only has a base flesh layer, blue under tones, veins, and blue mottle.

Also, fawna has some hair. She is getting more but what she has is kinda cute. Wet and then dry.

Finishing up an avatar babe. I might have to sew something for him to wear. He has glow-in-the-dark spots and an iridescent varnish.

It is OK I guess. It wasn’t the joy of silicone but painting isn’t a super pain either. Rooting it is a pain. I’m thinking of learning to paint hair just so I don’t have to root it. Lol!!

However, I DO like the detailed look of them. Producing that same detail in silicone appears to be possible when I look at other babies but I’m not there with silicone yet.

I very much enjoy the result so far with Fawna. I just don’t really like the medium as much as silicone.
