Didn’t think I would be able to finish rooting Everlee for a while due to me shutting my fingers in the car door and being bandaged up but I still had my thumb and little finger to hold the hair so managed to finish rooting tonight, just needs a trim and eye lashes left to root now

Lol I did the same thing kinda in the summer! Smashed my fingers in the garage door :woman_facepalming:t2: Didn’t affect my rooting ability too much though. Hope you heal fast! Rooting looks great

Thank you, Lol it’s healing slowly but it could have been worse, it could have been my right hand and then I wouldn’t have been able to paint :joy:

I just ordered Michelle, I’ve had her in my wish list since she was listed, then saw that wonderful price on her seconds and took the plunge.

When you say she’s big, is she 3 month Joseph or 7 month June big? I only ask because she’s supposed to be 6 months, but with her not being a realborn, I don’t have anything to base her size off of (especially since recently seeing the size difference in 23in 3 Month Joseph and 23in Saskia). I know she’ll probably get here sometime next week and I’m not planning on working on her for awhile…just really curious. Thank you!

I haven’t done 3 mo Joseph or 7 mo June so I have no idea :frowning: She is my first big baby. Her legs and arms are as long as my forearms and I’d say her head is about as big as a cantaloupe, if that helps lol.

OMG! He’s adorable! I can’t wait to see this one finished! He might be sneaking his way onto my wish list. lol You’re going to truly make an awesome baby…I can feel it!

This does bring about a question though…if I wanted to root the legs on this kit when it comes out, how would you glue inside the legs? I understand gluing inside heads, but what about limbs…how do you get the glue down in there?

Thank you for trying…now I gotta go look at cantaloupes! lol I guess I’ll just be surprised. I have no clue how big 7 month June is myself, but I’ve heard people say she’s about the same size as 3 month Joseph. I’m horrible at trying to picture doll sizes and it got worse after Joseph…he has me all discombobulated. lol I can’t wait to how you paint her!

Thank you. When I root limbs I poor glue in and use a long paint brush to spread it around. Then I let it dry several days and repeat the process in case I missed anything. So it takes about a week to get the glue finished.

Oh my goodness, what a cutie!
