I have always used the up and up brand latex cosmetic wedges from target for applying my matte varnish/finishing layer. They have now changed them so they are too dense and don’t work properly for me. I need to find the kind that are more porous and swell slightly when they are moistened. Does anyone know where I can find these? I went to Walmart, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, and CVS today looking and everyone has the very dense kind same as Target now has.

I have been using these. I last bought them back in August. I bought the Cotton brand in a big supply to use for silicone so these have lasted me a long time. But I have silicone tested these and they work on silicone too.
Thank you Angie!
Lol I should clarify I been using them since August 2023.
I’ve been using Wonder Wedges (50 large cosmetic wedges) for several years. Someone recommend them on this forum and I like them a lot. They absorb all extra paint from the washes and expend a lot when wet.
Don’t remember where I order them from as I ordered lot of packages of them, but I can take time to find out for you.
Edit: Oh shoot! Now I need to find another place who sells exact same product - I don’t want to use anything else
This one is currently unavailable and package doesn’t say ‘Large’, but I hope they are the same quality as that is the packaging what I have.

Now I had to be extra ‘savy’ with mine
Found them in the smaller size here

Thank you Yelena! If I had only known they were changing mine, I would have stocked up.
Life is no longer stable even for cosmetic wedges!
I used to use the Wonder Wedges also, but can no longer find them in Large or Jumbo size So I’ve been using these from amazon, the ONLY jumbos I can find.
Are they expend when wet like Wonder Wedges ?
Thank you! Good to know. Looks exactly like WW.
Did you see that pack of 6 is 4 times cheaper (8 c per wedge)?
These are what I use too, I love them!
