I made Lennox last year as a grinch baby, but I couldn’t finish her because she stinks so bad and has from day 1. I thought it would go away, but not! My granddaughter asked me to make her a grinch baby so I pulled it out. I will need to throw it away if I can’t get the smell out. It’s not a knock off I got it from MacPhersons. Did anyone else have this issue or have any idea how to get rid of it after 1 year. Tia

really strong chemicals. It burns my eyes and makes me sick to my stomach. The more you bake her the worst she gets.
I recall some others saying the vinyl smelled awful, a few years back. To me it’s an ugly kit and the smell maybe goes with that. 
I don’t recall if anyone had updated to say if they got the smell out, though.

I think she makes a cute grinch baby, but I can’t get pass the smell. And yes, the kit itself is ugly, but I saw grinch when I saw her. lol

I know exactly what you’re talking about. I bought a second Huxley (Lennox twin) from MacPherson’s because I love that kit. I bought the first one somewhere else. I had to return the second one because it smelled so badly of chemicals when I took the kit out of the box. It made my whole house smell and made me sick to my stomach, too. If the smell hasn’t gone after a year I’d say there’s no hope of getting it out. There’s also the concern of not knowing what it is and whether it’s toxic.The first one I bought (I think from irresistables.com) didn’t smell like that. It has to be due to different manufacturers.

I think you are right. I should have sent it back straight away but I thought I could fix it!
Mine smelled so bad I didn’t even want to try to fix it. I just wanted it out of my house ASAP.
