Not a pro but I would put on as much or as little as you want, depending on if you want the mottling to show or not. Hope I helped, lol.

I actually don’t use too many layers of flesh… on Caucasian babies anyway. I start with one that is thicker than any other layer, then maybe end with one to tie everything together. Might do one in the middle for the same reason or to tone down whatever is going on. Trying to be as helpful as @AnnieSokay here. Hope I helped.
