Irene's Silicone Nursery

Hello everyone! I’ve been collecting reborns for about 2 years now, but recently I’ve been super interested in trying out collecting silicones as well. I thought a good place to start might be with a lower priced baby since it will be my first, and I came across Irene’s Silicone Nursery on Facebook. Those babies look so lovely for the price asked for them! But I’m wondering if anyone here has any experience purchasing one of these silicones? I’d love to see your pictures and hear your reviews! I’m interested in purchasing Sunshine and Rainbow kits, the two 17" full body silicone babies offered.
TIA!

Not sure but here is her page if anyone wants to look:

Be careful. Some of her dolls are only 10" and most of the ones on her front page are cuddle babies so they only have silicone heads. The description of Stormy for $875 shows a picture of a full silicone but the description says it’s a cuddle baby. I couldn’t find a Rainbow. I noticed that most of them don’t have a size listed. I suspect what you see might not be what you’ll get but I could be wrong. Blank full bodied silicones can cost upwards of $1000. I’d be inclined to keep looking elsewhere. Good silicones are not cheap. The supplies to make them are very expensive. Ashton Drake has some cute silicones that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Or, it might be worth it to save up for a really good one.

I bought my daughter a starter silicone for Christmas from this seller on Etsy SiliconeSnuggleBaby - Etsy
The baby is definitely not high quality, but is certainly worth the price I paid. My daughter is thrilled with her, so I’m happy. The baby has visible seams on her arms, legs, and the top of her head, but her fingers, toes, and facial features are well made. If you’re looking for an inexpensive starter baby, I’d recommend this shop.

I’m aware of this shop and I’m not very interested in buying from it. I don’t really like the look of the babies and I’ve heard negative reviews about the artist being hard to work with

This is a blank kit she sells, Sunshine for $500. She is 17" and the one I have my eyes on.

Speaking of which, there’s a “removable eyes option”.:eyes:

Those eyes are so weird :scream:
