Installing a baby heartbeat heart..!

Yes…Nikki is my most Favorite Artists…!!! I don’t have anything quite like she has, but I’ve got my little heartbeat box that I’m going to try to install on my dolls cloth body:slightly_smiling_face:

I’m tryin… have not much sewing skills

I’m trying to refine it by tweeting it closer to the heart… then take the extra stitching out🤣

Looks good!

I’m tryin so hard…once I have the enclosure pinched off a bit… I can refine the stitching around it… then take all the loose stitches out… loooks like a mess right now🙄

It’s not as seamless as yours but I’ve got a pocket

Well I tried… I’ve got a pocket… I still think I’m gonna try your idea on my next doll body

So guessing from my tent finished body… did you open the side seam of your body then lay it out flat and sewed the pocket to the front slits then see the side body back up again…? I just didn’t do it that way cause I didn’t want to rip out the stitches from around the legs as well…

I put mine in a trouser sock or knee high bottom with polyfill around it and turn the top down several times Then stitch it to the neck seam where it will sit chest height and make sure to pad it with polyfiber in the chest so it doesn’t stick up to much but able to press on it to feel the heartbeat.

I can’t really explain it without diagrams or pictures. I just opened the center seam as far as needed for the pocket, turned the body inside out, and sewed the pocket on each end of the seam allowance.

That’s what I thought…I’ll do it that way next time for sure…!!

I’m a little cufuzzled lol… I’d have to see a picture of yours to help understand the process :0

The next time you do one… would you be willing to show a few steps as your putting it together…
I guess I’d have to keep watching this topic in the forum to catch you if you did… Could I PM you…?
You don’t have to… just think it might be helpful to me…Have a great day

I just put the sock that’s turned down a little at the top (Fold it down like a lunch bag)inside of the body and stitch it to the neck seam at the front. I put a little fluff inside the sock around the heart first then after it’s stitched in , I made sure it’s padded good with more fluff around the outside of the sock and make sure it’s in a good position
