Im not sure if making reborns is the right hobbie for me. I just dont have much patience for it

I am currently working on an other tutorial in english, should be on my channel soon!

@Butterfly seems like you’re using too much water and not enough medium, that’s why the edges dried faster than the center. Try a pastel pencil for the veins, it works beautifully. I will beginning posting my new tutorial this weekend,
I am using airdry and the primary method and I try to be very beginners friendly. I guess it wouldn’t hurt for you to take a look.
Reborning is a long journey, with a lot of mistakes and frustration but it can be very rewarding.
My 1st I had stripped 15 times. You don’t need to buy a lot of kits. Just breath and enjoy the process!

You sound like me. I’m never happy with my finished babies. Not a fan of selling them because I’m not happy with them. And yet I have entered and won contests and then I get obsessed with recreating my own work :woman_facepalming:t2: I totally understand your frustration. My advice for you is to just keep at it! My turning point was following a written tutorial to the letter and I finally made connections on how to mix paint (heat set) etc

After seeing your pics my advice to you would be thin layers, pounce and blend everything. Even veins to get them “under the skin” not just sitting on top. You gotta blur everything. My one and only air dry baby is a runny mess but I was so proud until I took her out into the light and could see all the paint drips :rofl::rofl:

We have all been there

You have to learn from those mistakes. My daughters skipping coach always told the kids,

Good, better, best
Never let it rest.
Until your good is better,
And your better best.

I’ve been at this since 2007 and I am still learning.

Best of luck,
Gail
