I wish kit photos included

I really Wish photos of the unfinished kits would include profile images. It would be nice to see the angle of the chin, slope of the nose and how far the mouth is open. Those aren’t ever something the is included in prototype images either so it would be nice to see.

At least part of the ones from BB do show the profile. Some just show a slanted profile. Some are show in the prototype pics and some are shown in the “what you get” vinyl pictures.

I agree. I am more interested in seeing more photos of the blank kits like BB does than I am seeing prototypes.

100% agreed. I can’t tell you how many times I have been taken in by the talent of a prototype artist’s painting, plus their photography skills and creative angles only to get the kit and hate it. This is happened SO many times that I very rarely preorder anything now. I wait and see what the kit really looks like and then decide.

Agreed! I also wish the profile and back of the head was featured. Some sculpts have super cute face but alien or bubble heads and seeing as I don’t root.

Agreed!! I also wish they would show the kit assembled so we could get somewhat of an idea of how the doll will look without the clothing. That’s just me I’m sure but I like to look at the proportions and make sure they look alright to me.

I agree aswell, As an artist can see a blank doll kit come to life before it is painted. If i love the blank doll kit as is, I know I’ll love the finished work more.

On the other hand, I’ve seen kits a particularly don’t care for at first, but then come across a prototype that I love, and then realize the potential the kit has.

Jocy was the perfect example of this! That kit is wonky! But I will say, once I finally got mine put together I liked her better. And the customer was absolutely thrilled with her. So even if we think kits are weird, there are customers out there who will love them. :woman_shrugging:t2:

I agree. Sometimes, I get a kit that is lopsided from shipping but I don’t know if that’s how it’s supposed to be because I have nothing to compare it to.

Exactly! Had this just happen to me

On sites where they don’t show the blank kit…I just tend to not buy it. I want to imagine my personal interpretation of the kit beyond the artist’s rendition even though they are inspiring.
