I started s last night on Harper. I did 2 red washes then baked. Tonight I will do 2 yellows, then bake, then 2 blues n back. Then I’m gonna just do 1 wash of each until I get a tone I like.

For blue in your burnt umber wash, do you use Ultramarine Blue or Phthalo Blue?
I have both here and have used both and it didn’t matter. Just a speck of it helps so the burnt umber doesn’t get that orange tint while baking.
