On Amazon. Decided to take a chance and purchase. So glad I did. It smells just like Pampers and baby powder, like babies. Plan to spray my babies’ diapers before sending them to customers. Sharing the seller’s info incase anyone else wants some.
Please ask your customers first.
I hate baby powder smell as it gives me allergic reaction and headache. Same with any aromatic baby wafers that people are using.
I am the same as Yelena.
I am fine with actual baby powder but wafers or sprays are too strong.
I cant wear perfume. No one in my house does. No colognes either. No candles, incense or air fresheners. Absolutely no car fresheners. Non scented lotion.
I can smell/taste the lotion from the cashiers who handle the groceries.
Rubber is another scent that triggers me. Tires, balls, hoses…
I am the opposite, I love baby scented products. Unfortunately, there’s not many left. Many products are now unscented. I used to buy these products but they are discontinued.(ensueno is still available) Also, Babies r us-in stores carried baby scented dryer sheets. Dreft scent beads are still available but cost a small fortune.
It is kind of strange that some scents don’t bother me, I have horrible allergies. Got shots my entire life and still had problems.
I’m not sensitive to most scents, but because so many people are I ask my customers if they want it. I cut the wafers into small pieces (a tad bigger than 1/4"), because they’re so strong, and put one in the diaper. I send the rest of the cut up wafer in a small jar with a tight fitting, snap on lid. They hold the scent a long time like this and can easily replace one when that’s no longer effective.
For a good reason
I’m the same as you and @jlesser. The scents don’t necessarily bother me. But they make my hubby really sick. I can’t tell you how many times I have bought kits or outfits from others, only to open the box and immediately seal it back up and throw it in the far back corner before the scent had time to escape. I especially don’t understand why some kits come smelling like perfume. What’s the point?
The sad part is that I baked one of them so many times, vanished it twice and I still can smell that perfume scent.
Now I am painting another one like this and wondering how I’ll explain to the customers that scent.
Products like this do intrigue me because I love the baby powder scent. When people were complaining about LLE sending out kits with a wafer I the box, I was loving opening up mine. Having said that, I know that many people hate or cannot tolerate the smells of those as well as other things so if I send out a wafer with a baby I make I just leave it in the package it came in so it does not emit smell and put it in the paperwork package. Then the buyer can decide if they want to use it or toss it. On the other hand, I had someone send me something with dryer sheets in it and it bothered me immensely. So I hated that package. But I would be interested in this room spray for spraying in the air in my nursery room for my own enjoyment. That is what I do with the Johnson’s Baby Cologne. I also like to spray my babies blankets with it so they have a light scent when I pick them up from the crib.
Awhile back, I purchased a couple “Spanish” kits from a UK dealer. The vinyl had a baby powder fragrance. After 20 min, it did get nauseating. I almost forgot about that. I’m one to use baby powder, baby lotion, etc. It smells nice, but if you can’t escape the smell, I understand that could be a problem.
RebornFX vinyl has vanilla nauseating smell to me, especially when it baked. But I managed to paint 2 Magnolias and 2 Jazmins as I purchased then without knowing that they have that smell.
I love vanilla in my food, but not in vinyl
Yeah, I always ask my customers. This spray though is not overpowering, is nice and light. I hate the wafers. Even I can’t handle how strong they are. They give me a headache and makes my eyes burn. Anything like that does. This stuff is light and pleasant, and probably won’t last forever on clothing like the wafer scents seem to. The scent of this spray reminds me more of the scent of Pamper’s (or what they used to smell like) than real baby powder.
Some rubber dog toys are now having that synthetic vanilla smell. Not liking that much.
Me, too! My nursery smells like babies but not overpowering. It’s kind of inspirational.
Omg tires kill me! My daughters boyfriend stored a set of brand new tires in thier living room and even after they got moved out I can still smell them in there
lol see I love thier smell
I love it too
I got new tires a few months back the guy said “Feel free to hang out in the lobby. It should only be an hour.”
I said “no thanks. I cant handle the tire smell. I will walk home, and come back when it’s done”
He laughed and said he doesnt even smell anything… lol
I ask them how they can stand it any time I go in the tire places…. Can not everyone smell that?
Thanks, just ordered some for my personal babies. I’ll use it for my customers that request scent.
They go nose blind. As a nurse, I got used to the smell of the inside of the nursing home, to where I no longer noticed it.
