I was looking for a reborn to purchase for myself and ended getting one for my husband instead, funny how things work out. My husband has always liked everything Elvis and he was looking at the babies with me and when came across this little guy he had to have him. So I bid on him and won and he should be on his way soon to us.
I am having fun picking on my husband because he just had to buy a baby doll, his answer “but it’s Elvis”. I will be looking to get a reborn or silicone in the next few months.
It may be awhile as he spent my money that I was saving to buy a reborn for myself but that is ok, I will start saving again or maybe my twins (Joey and Josie) will sell right away once I post them for sale. Do twins sale better being sold together or separate?
I always wondered about that. Will people really put out the money to buy a set of twins? And if they only sell separately, why do twins? Although, I’d probably do it just for the photos they would make.
Here’s a “funny” for you. … While some of the ladies here were meeting the challenge to make Irelyn cute, the ladies on CORA were making Joey cute. this Elvis Joey tied for first place. He is an adorable little fellow.
I know right and trust I have been picking on him about it mostly because well when our youngest son was 1 1/2 years old he managed to open one of my cabbage patch dolls from it’s package (he ripped the box) and he carried the doll around forever. My husband was not thrilled by the fact that his son wanted and had a girl baby doll that he played with. He even tried to take the doll a way from our son and our son cried and screamed until he gave the doll back to him. Our son carried that baby every where with him until he lost her one day when he was about 5 years old and he cried about losing her. We searched for that doll with no luck. My sister had took him and his brother to the park the day he lost his baby.
I think a lot men are that way. According to my husbands mother, he had a baby doll when he was a toddler that he carried around to like our youngest son did.
That’s too funny your hubby wanted that baby! I handed Addy Hess to my hubby and asked him to put her in the cradle. Next thing I hear is him telling her to go to sleep. I cracked up! They get into the dolls more than they let on.
Baby Elvis has been shipped and he is now on his way. My husband can’t wait for him to get here. Now only if I can find a home for my babies would be nice.
