For some time now I have noticed we have had a limited few of babies available in silicone. I think we all would agree that Darren is a great selling baby and we are thrilled he finally came back in stock. Why is it that we do not get Presley back in silicone? He was in for such a limited time and many of us did not have the opportunity to get him. I myself would love to have that sculpt. Also, I am curious as to why a sculpt who is so very popular such as Johanna asleep has not been made in silicone? Or what about Summer Rain asleep? Or little newborn Joseph? I keep seeing the same ones offered and they are the lesser desirable sculpts IMO. Especially the ones with the twisted side drooping mouths that cannot be opened properly for a pacifier. Can we get something different?
I have a short list also of sculpts I would love to see in silicone! Johanna asleep is at the very top of the list, along with Laila asleep!
I also wish they would bring back Callie and Presley asleep!

I think he has stepped away. A couple of years ago, he verbally (and I don’t remember where), and he announced that he was turning the business over to his children.
I don’t know much about sili but would a Joseph at 3 months or a big June work in sili? That would be awesome!
Some might like them but IMO they would be too heavy to really enjoy. Silicone is so much heavier than vinyl.
I’ve only ever held Darren and Steven partial silis. Big babies would be far too heavy in my opinion.
It is possible. Doris Moyers-Hornbogen (DMH dolls) makes larger silicone babies. She has sculpts all the way up to 12 months. You’d definitely get a workout in each time you lifted/carried one of those!
Wow! Are her sculpts FBS? If so, I wonder how something so heavy could be manipulated without tearing under its own weight.

Edit: Now that I’ve had time to look through them, yes they are FBS. I think she uses armatures. She has quite a few videos of their movements. Really cool!
Very cool! I would risk the backache for June. Love the sculpt so much I could even sit with her unpainted.
