I got a Cricut Joy!

I’m very excited because I got a Cricut Joy. It’s for the whole house but still. I had an idea to make myself a keychain with my nursery name and contact info so that I can easily give out the info if someone is interested. I also have a whole list of stuff I want to make for my dolls lol. Anybody else have one of these? They’re so fun lol

It cuts different materials and can write and draw stuff. It can make like vinyl decals, greeting cards, iron on decals etc.

I have a Cricut maker. I used it a lot when I worked at our shop. But I don’t have a computer at home so I don’t use it at all now.

I just today picked up my Brother ScanNCut – which is pretty much the same thing. It does all those things, and it works with my new machine. My machine has a computer in it and has WiFi capabilities. It is hooked up with my home internet. The ScanNCut can “talk” to the computer and they can send files back and forth. Pretty cool, I guess. I have only taken it out of the box. So, I won’t know for sure if I even like it until I get time and energy to try it. It does sound like fine, though. I would love to see what you make, Morgan! You are very talented.

I’m using permanent vinyl. You just cut it with the machine, weed it (Take out the extra bits), apply transfer tape to it and stick it on. That’s basically it. If you look on the Cricut site it explains it. Or go on YouTube. It’s pretty awesome lol.
