How to store unpainted silicone kit

Good afternoon,

So I am almost done paying off an Alex by Claire Taylor and something came up that I may not be able to get it painted right away.

I’m wondering how long would silicone kits keep and how to store them just in case there may be months until I can get them painted and rooted. I know I’d have to take the kit out possibly and do maintenance which is fine.

I soak mine several hours in hot soapy water and give a good scrubbing then rinse dry. Next I wrap them up in white tissue paper and put them away. When I take them out to use them I give them a quick wash again to remove and lint and wipe them down with gloss NOVOCS very well before painting. (or you can wipe down in pure acetone)
