How much glass beads to order?

I’m ordering a kit-- and it’s my first attempt at reborning. I am getting the “Spencer"
kit from Bountiful Baby. He is going to be a 19” doll. I want to order the glass beads for weighting, and I’m not sure how much I should order? I plan to weight the limbs, the body, and also the head. Would 4 lbs of the glass beads be about right?

I get my beads whole sale from EBay. Typically 10 to 20 lbs for $25 or $40 :smile:

You should consider buying the complete doll kit as it has all the supplies you need at a lower price. But that’s just my opinion.
