Is there anyway I can prevent this if so would be it brilliant to share thank you.
Are you using air dry? If so that might be the problem. I live down dirt roads in west Texas where the dust is terrible. I use Genesis and never have a problem with dust getting in the paint.
I use air dry paints and I don’t see a lot of dust. However I brush each piece off with a makeup brush prior to painting. I had a dust issue when I used regular paper towels but I switched to the cloth like ones which has really helped. I also use cotton hand towels to dry my kits after washing instead of paper towels.
I’ve haven’t had a problem with ghsp. Once it dries anything just wipes right off. I have had a stray fiber or hair leave a mark in the paint but I can usually blend it out if I catch it before I bake.
Varnish on the other hand WOW that stuff sucked up every fiber, hair and dust particle and embedded it permanently
So I’m eager to hear any solutions other then a pressurized clean room
I’ve always used air dry and never had a problem with dust particles. Maybe because it dries faster. I guess I live in the right place. lol
Keep your windows closed and your babies covered.
I’m not sure if it might help, but my problem is cat hair. The whole time I’m painting (air dry) I use a roll of cellophane tape to remove each hair as it flies onto my work. Then I place my parts to dry inside a huge plastic bin used only for that purpose. I put my whole drying rack inside and close the lid. It works for me.
Hiya I also have that issue
I have this problem too. My two cats love to clean themselves on the windowsill and watch me paint. I like the cellophane tape idea. I have been using the tip of a rooting needle and it’s really difficult to catch onto them.
Ooooooh brilliant!
It doesn’t help that my cat thinks that it is her workstation not mine lol. And this particular cat seems to believe that she owns the house even though I have yet to see her get a job or pay the mortgage:flushed: it does occur to me that I have a air purifier in my bedroom, I could bring it up when I paint maybe that might help:woman_shrugging:
