How do you ship rooted babies?

I wanted to know how you all ship you rooted babies, I want to protect the hair and have it not look like the baby got their finger in a light socket when they arrive! I would like it better if I knew the hair looked nice when the box is opened. I root with alpaca if that makes any difference at all.

I use plastic wrap to secure the hair.

Ditto on the plastic wrap. I wrap the whole head really thoroughly and then cover with a hat

I wrap in plastic wrap and then put on a hat also.

I wrap the whole baby in a swaddle blanket or swaddle sack and secure it with ribbon, also the way I pack babies into boxes with little extra room helps to keep baby from being tossed around in the box.:slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve seen hairnets available on some doll supply sites as well.

I also wrap mine in a blanket tied with ribbon…most of the time i put a little crocheted hat on them to hold the hair in place.

But does it hold up? Do you get to see box openings? I’d worry that taking plastic wrap off would make hair all static’s. Are you combing it first? Spraying it to stay? Someone here said awhile ago they put baby oil gel in thier reborns hair for styling, but not sure if they shipped that way and it it held up. I tried the plastic wrap thing and it was a mess and gave up lol

I use hair nets, I secure 2 layered together with a tiny hair band.

I use the hair nets for buns, I found them at a beauty supply store.
