How do you like Kate Charles AA Tutorial?

How do you guys like Kate Charles AA tutorial? I’ve heard pretty positive reviews so far. Did you guys get the PDF or the book? I know if you get the PDF you can’t print it out.

I have her tutorial. It is very detailed and walks you through the process step by step. I especially like the diagrams she includes. I have the PDF. I haven’t been able to make a decent AA baby with it yet, but I think it’s more user error than a problem with the tutorial lol.

Can someone also tell me what Genesis colors she uses so I know I have all of them thanks!

Bump

I’m not near my iPad at the moment to check the tutorial, but if I remember correctly the only colors I didn’t have were raw umber and carbon black. I have the basic colors, flesh colors, and a few others I’ve added (dioxazine purple, pyrole and crimson red, burnt umber, yellow ochre, and mars black I think) and the only ones I can remember needing that I didn’t have were the ones I mentioned above. Sorry I can’t be more specific at the moment!

I forgot to add that I used the genesis color chart on the bb site to mix those colors from the ones I had. I also didn’t have a veridian blue (or green, I forget which) and couldn’t find a mixing chart for this but I just used vein blue as it looked the same.

I prefer the printed book. You can keep it in front of you and yes you could do that with an ipad or laptop…but its so much easier to have the actual book. Great reference!
