If the babies hair is cut short enough and rooted pretty thickly, it won’t even get messy. On my last baby I did thick black hair. His hair never got out of place haha!! Even with clothing changes. I was kinda shocked. The things I did differently were of course, thick rooting and I cut his hair real short like 1 inch
You can also use styling gel that contains NO alcohol to keep babies hair from getting messed up so easily. I do not use styling gel on this baby though. He hair was just styled with water and a toothbrush and that was that.
