Help I have a problem

Hi everyone new to the community. I have a problem I have never encountered before, after my reborn had a layer of painting baked I discovered the head had an indent to the top. I have stuffed the head with fibre fill, heated it up and left to cool, removed filling but dent seems to be returning. Any suggestions please???

I had that problem with a foot on my first, after I completed it I was able to kind of fix it with some creative stuffing with the help of glass microbeads in a nylon and fiberfill, but I still wasn’t really pleased with the results, I’m interested to see everyone else’s solutions!

So you have an extender ring on your oven?

Yes I do use an extender ring.

It is happening every time I place the head into the oven and in the same spot.

Can you post a pic?
Does it happen if you position the head a different way?

Yes no matter where I position the head it keeps happening.

Realborn Jade asleep, no done many kits before nothing like this has ever happened. Definitely not that this is more in the area of the crown.

Put the head in boiling water with water inside the head it will pop out.

Thanks I will try.

Thought that and have been reducing the temperature but never had this problem with any other kit which has been baked in the same way.

You need to get a regular oven thermometer in there and check that the temperature is not over 265.I bake at 265 for 8 minutes.

Do you have an oven thermometer?

Yes not sure where I have put it will try to find it.

Yes I tend to keep the temperature around that or very slightly lower, never experienced this before :frowning:

That would be very dishearting.
Did the hot water help pop dent back out or was
it actually a melted spot on the head?
Perhaps a defected vinyl or even something wrong
with nuwave oven?..
