I don’t believe you can use just any makeup. My understanding is that the Coastal Scents are not made like other makeup. I don’t know if I explained that well.

I use an Emory board nail file to grind mine to powder. There are many other ways you can use them. I grind to a powder so I can mix different colors if I want. I put a little powder in a lid, bowl dip my brush and tap off excess. I dip a blush brush in powder tap off the excess. There are many techniques that can be used. I just started using them.
