This was the doll I thought would end up in the garbage. Her lips were horrid, tried to do spit bubbles (major fail) then I stripped them. I just couldn’t imagine they would come back. Then I penciled hair, it looked ok but she needed volume, her head looked to “flat” so I rooted over the pencil. at this point I had pretty much given up but I needed the rooting over pencil experience. You know she is now one of my favorite babies. She reminds me of a baby I know in real life. The moral of the story is “Don’t give up”…
I love her!!!
The limbs on this baby are beautiful, she has one ear that…well doesn’t look complete. I am guessing this was an early sculpt. She has those kissy-dolly lips.
