Have you ever rooted

This this type of mohair. Before I knew better. I brought like 3 or 4 packs of this mohair. I figured I’m still gonna use it.

Did you cut the tip off before you started?

Ok, that’s what I was gonna do, thanks!

I think it was @pia that said you can straighten it then when you’re done rooting wet it and it will go back to curly. I hope I haven’t miss quoted her.

I use a flat iron on the curly mohair to make it easier to root and it does curl back up when you wet it. Be sure you root the end that comes out of the goal into the head. If you cut th strand in half you still need to root so that the cuticle goes the same direction on all of th hair that you root.

Ok, thank ladies.

This hair was done using her hair. I love it, but It’s not curly. But it was the easiest hair I’ve rooted so far, and I root only using a fork needle which can be tough. I think you willike like it!

I just finished a baby with this hair. I straightened it and it curled right back up when wet. If you want short super curly hair I would suggest cutting it in a way that your rooting the tips of the hair (I hope that makes sense)! Here’s the result I got from cutting it in the middle
