Yay! Can’t wait to see yours. It is such a precious sculpt.

I’ve only made seven or eight so far, but for me, it was my Layla I made last week. I was actually thinking of keeping her, but she sold yesterday, so I guess not.

Thank you! She’s Layla by Suzette du Plessis. I’m already thinking of purchasing this kit again.

Yes! I usually don’t list any baby right away because I have to have time with them. I had my first Asher Awake for almost 6 months before I listed her.

Now, my Marissa (Grant) makes me have panic attacks when I think about listing her so she’s my keeper baby. I can’t imagine working on a custom that you want to keep. :sob:

Here’s my baby girl, Marissa:

Megan is supposed to be delivered Monday morning. I just can’t do it. She was sold as a boo boo baby. So I am making another Megan that isn’t a boo boo baby for the same price. The reason for her being a boo boo baby is kinda why I can’t part with her.

Yes I had a hard time parting with my Raleigh Winters. Because of space and cost, I think I’m going to do Katie (the mini-Raleigh) for myself. Too bad we can’t have minis of each baby we paint to keep for ourselves.

And…the reason I am selling/trading my Thomas Twins by Jody is because I can’t part with the set that I painted. I know my skill level is not as Jody’s, but my babies tugged real hard at my heart strings. I can’t let them go and I can afford to keep both sets. :pensive:
I’ve had a few others that were hard to let go of but was able to move on.

I was making Avery for myself and she was sold before I finished her and so I made another one and had intended to keep her but then sold her before she was finished. Maybe I should just keep making that one - she sells so well!

Yes. I reborned two ā€œTreyā€ Dolls. The both went to new home. She is beautiful. . . Matter a fact I love all my babies I reborn. Especially when I get them put together and put the baby powder cards in the bodies, then dress them my my mommy starts showing. I am 73 years old.
