Have you ever had a doll you didn't want to part with?

Hey ladies!
So I’m sitting here rooting a custom, and I cringe at the thought of boxing him up and sending him home when I finish. I don’t usually make a doll I want to keep. Normally I’m happy to send them home and move on to the next one. But this one is just harder, for some reason! I kinda want to refund them and keep him…LOL!!!

Have you ever made a doll you wanted to keep?

Part of me is SO tempted. But then… I don’t want to disappoint the lady who bought him. it’s too bad it’s nearly impossible to replicate a doll. Or I would make a second one for me. They never come out exactly alike tho!

I have sold my 1st Meg against my better judgement, and although I have made at least 4 more, and kept one of them, they were never the same. Funny that I did not even like Meg that much, I only bought the 1st kit because somebody listed it very cheap on eBay and I got it as a real bargain. But she grew on me as I made her, and then somebody came for visit and talked me into letting her go. :frowning:
That is one of the reasons I do not make customs. I like the idea that they are all mine until I decided to sell them, IF I decide to sell them.

Yep, this one. I just finished her last week and I can’t put her down. Those big eyes and scrunchy face just kill me everytime I pass by her.

I was so hoping you were going to say that-----I HAVE ONE!!! I bought it at ROSE and I thought the face was so dang cute!! That’s why I thought I recognized him. He’s perfect!!
