He is adorable! Makes a cute girl too, but I just love this version. It’s Brynne by Kyla Janell.
He’s a cutie, all right. I wonder how hard it was to root those tight curls. They look fantastic!
They do look great! I have done it on one baby several years ago. It was really difficult to work with, but the finished product was worth the effort.
I adored this painted version so much, I preordered 2 of them!!
Where can I find this type of hair?
I found it on ebay. As best I recall, it is called African Toddler Curls and it is human hair. I think it came from somewhere in the UK.
Thank you. I will check ebay.
Here’s the link. It’s from Katie Messou in the UK.

Thank you!!
I had some hair very similar to this. I gotta check n see if I have any left.
You can also go to a beauty supply and get the human afro bulk.
I wondered of that would work but didn’t know because it’s adult hair. Have you used it? Just curious because it would be nice to avoid the shipping charge.
I have only so far been working with wet and curly human hair. I have them both however, they aren’t delicate and fine as the mohair but the hair is soft and roots nicely per strand and it flattens with ease when you wet it and gently brush it. You can go look for your self and see if it suits your preference.
This is the hair that I am working with now…it is human hair from the beauty supply.
He is so darn cute and reminded me of someone as soon as I saw him. And then I figured out who it was. He looks like a baby version of the little boy that plays the young Randall on the show This Is Us.
I think I use it on her. I just didn’t cut it short. I straightened it before I started rooting. This is what I brought from Amazon.
Oh my goodness, all these babies are adorable
