Has Anyone Reborned the "Maggie" doll kit?

Hi,
I was wanting to see if someone that has reborned the “Maggie” doll kit that comes with a full tbody could tell me if the head of the kit attaches just like any other kit does? I was wondering if I could use the head off of another kit on the full body that comes with the “Maggie” kit or if there was something made differently about the head that would prevent me from being able to do this and it look right… Thought I should ask before spending money for a kit just to use the body only to later find out that it wont work…If anyone has the kit and could show me a close up of how the neck looks, Id greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

The torso goes over the cloth body. So it all attaches like a regular kit would. You can replace the head if you want to, I know other people have done so too.

Thanks! I knew it attached to a cloth body but was just curious whether the neck might be formed different to help it appear to be connected to the torso better or perhaps attach differently. I wish BB had photos of the kit unassembled…Anyway, thank you for your reply!

I am using a Maggie body and Precious GIft Head. Both are the same circumfrence so it will work. Here is a pic of the unassembled kit. Not my pics!

maggie MAGGIE-2

The head arms and legs go on the cloth body not the torso itself.

This is Robin’s head with Maddox torso (same as Maggie).

Not all heads will fit though! It still needs to fit inside the neck hole of the torso. Skya does not fit. Shyann does though but her detailing doesn’t quite match up with the rest of the kit if you know what I mean. I have the Maggie kit Unpainted and I put her together last night to see how she looked and omg what a pain. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like once stuffed.i have everything attached except one leg that ran off somewhere.

I would look for kits that had the same neck ring and maybe body?

I paired her body with the honey head

Very smart idea, matching the ring measurements for a good fit!

I assume once its assembled, you cant separate the torso from the body, correct? I bet posing is very limited because of this…

No you can’t separate them without disassembly or cut the body in two half (back and front). Posing is not so bad, but it’s not really cuddly.
