Has anyone purchased from this shop? If so what was your experience with their mohair? Thanks in advance!

I have never bought finished mohair from them. I have bought raw mohair and processed and dyed it myself. Used to be $50 for 3 or 4 lb box. Would make some for myself and sale 1/2 oz bundles for $20. That way I never ran out of mohair.

I bought some unprocessed mohair once. I thought I could process it myself and save some money. However, after trying to do a very small batch, I can tell you I will pay whatever they’re asking for already processed, quality mohair. It’s a lot of work.

I had never heard of it, so of course I had to check it out! It looks so beautiful. But then I read it is coarse and I am wondering if that would be good for a reborn. I know you do a LOT of gorgeous rooting with curly hair. So, I thought maybe you would know.

Also, I got my Juan today!!! I know that is not so good for a lot of people because he has such a huge head. But, he is to be bi-racial, and I wanted to ask you where is the best place to get hair like you use? I want to make him sorta like my first great grandson. He will be 3 in May. This is truly a big baby, but I want to make him more like our great grandson looks now. They usually keep his hair short on the sides and back and leave the top kinda long. with his curls, he looks beautiful!

@Jacelyn5440 I buy my mohair from an Etsy store called Blue goat mohair. They’re in Colorado. It’s super fine and curly but I use that hair most of the time on my babies. If you’d like a sample I would be happy to send some to you to see if you like it.

Yes! To me it looks like human hair. The description says the mohair is from Chinese goats. I’m scared to purchase but if I do I will definitely purchase via PayPal w/ buyer protection.

I totally agree! It’s a ton of work!
