I have varnished him with the American soft touch varnish and i really did not touch him mutch
But he look so shinny what do you think ?

I am so happy with him i bought him from a lady on this forum and i love him
Did you add cornstarch as it was recommended by @anjsmiles ?
I always follow her recipe and never had shine issue.

Yes i did

I did 20 drops of water
1/4 spoon cornstach
1 plastic spoon varnish
Mix together and put on with a sponge

if mine came out too shiny, I would add more corn starch and do over.

that is exact label that I have on my Americana’s, so I don’t know why it acted shiny for you 
Did you mix it up before you scooped some out? I think it can separate over time.

Yes i do , but yesterday i try it again and at more cornstach that Penelopesreborn said
