Handmade clothing

Out of curiosity, how many of you would be interested in purchasing handmade outfits for your dolls? Thinking of getting back into sewing doll clothing but I’m not sure if there is enough of a demand for it.

I think there is always a demand for the smaller clothes. The ones that you cant buy at the store.

Definitely agree with @Kate. People are always looking for smaller clothes. Nice ones that don’t cost more than your own clothes are hard to find.

I while back, I bought an outfit here that was basically like a plain white onesie that someone sewed a skirt and flowers on, then made a headband and barefoot sandals to match.

Agreed with the mini clothing thing!! I’d love to buy outfits for mini dolls off of people on the forum. Outfits for 10-12 inch dolls would be my most-wanted.

Definitely mini baby clothing lol  Little dresses, bonnets ect. For about 10" dolls.

Can someone please post a link to a 10-12” doll on BB or MacPhersons? I can never find them when I search. I’ll have to buy one to use to make patterns off of. I make my own patterns.
I have so many vintage pillow cases that would make adorable dresses for manor elves too.

If I b.could find 12" doll clothes that were cute and affordable, I would paint Salia in a heartbeat!

She’s cute! I just looked at her.

Over the next week I’ll try to make a few things and post them. Given my health allows. I had to quit my job Thursday due to health reason and so now I really need to turn my hobby into a career until I’m able to work again. So stressful.

I agree with everyone. Mini would be a needed thing. If you can crochet tiny booties it might be another thing to sell.
