Explaining these dolls to ordinary people is so time consuming.YOU SEE LADIES THEY DONT KNOW DOLLS LIKE WE DO…THEY DONT LOVE DOLLS LIKE WE DO…THEY DONT UNDERSTAND HOW WE CLICK…WE DONT UNDERSTAND HOW WE CLICK.I GET TOUCHY …BECAUSE I SPENT ALOT OF TIME ON THESE DOLLS.IF YOU DONT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT DOLLS THEN DONT TALK TO ME…LOL IM FO REAL I CAN TALK ABOUT DOLLS ALL DAY…

LOL! It’s kinda like asking some people how they’re doing. If you don’t REALLY want to know, DONT ASK!!! There are no simple one sentence answers about our babies.

lol I do find myself having to just stop talking because I’ve gone over board discussing the topic with people who have never seen a reborn before. 
We just want people to experience our passion for them!!!

Yes, I’ve had people ask so how’s it going with your dolls and within a couple on minutes i get the mmmmmkay face. I’ve learned there’s a few people I just say fine or good amd move on lol.

Are we just a little obsessed? I find when I’m doing things that I used to love to do I’m thinking about what I can do need to do next on my current baby. My husband doesn’t mind nor do my children but I have lots of friends that shutter and say it’s creepy. One friend did love my first baby and her daughter used him for baby Jesus at school. I’m so happy I found this forum and hope to find others. You ladies teach me and keep me upbeat about my work. Thank you all so much.

Everyone says reborns are creepy or the stuff of nightmares. I don’t get it. Even my little zombie baby is precious. Not gory or anything. Some (most) people just don’t get them.

I just had a huge discussion with my therapist about reborn dolls. She told me that in their field if you knoe they are a doll they have no problem with them EVEN if you take one with you wherever you go.
I told her people acted all concerned whenever I got a new doll and talked about how I must have mental issues.
Her reply? Even if you DID have mental issues and were crazy HOW does it impact them? Are you forcing them to hold your doll? No? Screw em.
Lol! Now I just tell people that if they don’t like them or think I’m crazy Oh Well. Don’t look lol
