Glazed Eyes - 3rd and Final Type I have seen

I glazed my Asher’s eyes today with the Pledge floor sealer and I really like it! I can’t believe how much easier it is to use than the varnish sealers and it looks so crystal clear with no lines. It only takes a drop or two to work and so you are getting a much thinner application than other things I have tried. I shoulda switched to this a long time ago! Shout out to Janan!!!

I can’t wait to try it! What does the bottle look like, so I get the right one! @anjsmiles

Thanks Amy, I am so happy that this may be a solution for all the ladies that like the glossing of the eyes…
I love how everyone works together to find solutions… we all learn new things no matter how long we have been in the industry and it just gets better and better… as There are innovative and exciting products always being introduced and being on a forum like ours, there is bound to be others who have tried them and can give insight with their personal experiences that will help each other…

Do you just brush it on? Drop it on? The stuff I am using now is so thick it doesn’t spread well. So I kinda hate it. LoL

What are you using? Generally, you let it drop off the brush.

I have this Triple Thick by Decoart

I bought some, too. It came in a “lifetime supply” sized bottle! I bet if I reborn until I am 100 years old, I will never finish it!

Lol I use it on my floors now too! Lololol

It won’t work on my floors - they are textured to mimic stone.

I just came back to say that I got some pledge floor finish shipped from USA as Australia doesn’t stock it. It is a big bottle that will last me for a long time. Just a couple of drops from the brush and it’s so thin and streak free. Perfect!! Thanks Janan!!

I have a bunch of beads that I sealed with the pledge about seven or eight years ago and they were still clear and smooth the last time I looked. I was afraid they would get sticky over time but they haven’t.

Mandy, I’d be leary of using that glaze. There are several that were thought to be ok but have since been realized they have issues down the road. I had used Ceramcoat and, while I really like the look, it was difficult getting it bubble-free. I now use the Pledge Floor Care that’s been tried and true…and it’s virtually bubble-free.

Maybe they should put that on the bottle.

I will look for some Pledge stuff at Walmart this weekend. Somebody about a year ago suggested that Triple thick that I have and I liked it but now it seems too thick and doesn’t spread right.

Also I have got to learn to root open eyes. Trying to get the fake ones on is a PITA. lol

I have been looking at these products and there are number which are called floor care finish but some seem to be for wood and others mention wax. Could you please, tell me if there is anywhere on this bottle written what are the ingredients? It will cost me close to $50 to get a bottle, so I want to make sure I am getting the right stuff. The cheapest one, which sounds the same or similar, has totally different label.
