Some of you know that I have a little You Tube channel where I do tutorials and chat and paint.
So I have decided to give away the Ape and the Avitar on my YT channel. I have no idea how this works at all. I want to do it right and be fair because as we know work gets around and I want the words said about me to be well earned.
(with all the current drama I want to make sure I get this right)
If any of you have done it or have participated in a give away on YT tell me how to make this happen.
I think I want to do one when I hit 500 followers. You can’t see me but I am doing that Austin Powers mini-me, one million dollar pinky-to-lips thing, I am a dork.
I am happy with who ever hangs out, I am not looking for big numbers, I am not monetized, I just hope nice people show up and it is fun.
Then do the other baby for Christmas, maybe give it away at Thanksgiving?
So how do I do this?
I know the Ape and Avi might not be everyones flavor but they are fun and free (I am going to ask the winner to cover shipping, that’s fair, right?).
I don’t know what the program is but I know it take all the people who have commented on a video and pick a random winner. It may be a youtube thing ?

I did a little research, and got some awesome PM’s (thank you so much).
So what I will do is announce the give away (at 500 subs), mostly because it gives me something to look forward to. I don’t make money but it lets me know people are watching and interested and tells me if I should keep making videos.
On that particular video in comments I will write down the names of all the people interested, put the names in a hat and have my seven year old pull a name and film it so people can see I am really randomly pulling a name. I will announce the day I will do it and do it and post the video.
I will ask that person to send me a confirmation they received the baby via Private message and post a screen shot so everyone will know there really was a winner and they really did get the baby.
It is a little more work than I thought but a little less intimidating than I thought.
I will announce it here so anyone here interested can get in on it, I think the subs I have come from a couple of the doll forums I belong to.
@Sony72 addressed that, she thought maybe I could give everyone a number, and match the number to the name, and just pull a number.
That would be fun if people came out…
My channel is pretty quiet, it’s a nice little group and I like it but its about building community. People who want something free will enter and leave, people who want to hang out will hang out.
I wish we all made channels, it would add another dimension to a forum.
I want to encourage everyone, it is a lot more fun than I thought, it’s just like hanging out with (invisale) girlfriends. It is free, it makes working alone less lonely and you get to share and that feels good.
